Meet Adriana

Our Founder

I was born in México City proud to be Mexican, a graduate of the Latin University (México) with a BA in Social Psychology and Human development, after living in México City and working as a supervisor at a major company for several years; decided to move to Atlanta, Ga (Johns Creek area) in the of 2008, has worked with the Latino community in different projects for the social development of the community.

In 2010, I got my certification of Substitute Teacher in Latin American Association, in 2013 I took my bilingual certification CDA(children development associate).

I’ve been teaching and tutoring Spanish for both children and adults for a period of over seven years.

I’m happily married to Carl Burnett who has supported me to make this project reality. Together we work every day so that Spanish International Learning achieves its objectives successfully.
I have a step son Max, 9 years old who loves different languages, he is learning Spanish.

I have a 10 year old child Chris Andre, who is bilingual and fluent in both languages and a 25 year old daughter Shannon Sussette, who is also bilingual.
I have two passions in my professional life- one is teach Spanish to adults and the other is to help people with their causes.

My life’s motto is that we have to be better human beings every day!
